Geographically, Lagos State is dominated by bodies of water with nearly a quarter of the state’s area being bodies of water. Epe is a town located on the north side of the Lekki Lagoon. It is popular for the fishing activities attributed to the city. Per the 2006 Census the population of Epe was 181,409.
